This tour will highlight seasonal fall foods, including Cultivate Michigan’s winter featured food, cabbage! Participants will experience one of Michigan’s most innovative food rescue organizations, Forgotten Harvest, which is also dedicated to growing a diversity of nutrient dense produce crops to feed their clientele throughout the region.

- A diversified vegetable farm, highlighting seasonal fall crops in production
- A tour of the high-volume, produce centric Forgotten Harvest warehouse facility

- Forgotten Harvest’s diversified business and organizational model, including a privately branded food line and incubator kitchen featuring food processing, true to its original goal to fight hunger and food waste
This tour will begin at the Forgotten Harvest farm in Fenton, and conclude at the Forgotten Harvest facility in Oak Park. Lunch will be provided. Participants will be responsible for providing their own transportation between sites. Carpooling is encouraged!
